Hi friends,
Last weekend I read Daring Greatly by Brené Brown. A book on vulnerability and shame. I never thought I'd be studying about that but I'm so happy I did. The book made me realize that no one can achieve any form of success without vulnerability.
She defined vulnerability as "Uncertainty, risk, and emotional exposure".
How do you get a good job without applying and risking being rejected?
How do you find love without putting yourself out there and risking being rejected?
How do you build a business without risking failure?
These are all filled with uncertainty and the feedback could hurt a lot. I'll leave you with the quote that motivated the book and as you read it, choose to always be in the arena.
"It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better.
